Ryders Creed - Lost Soul
Album: Lost Souls

"This song is about the hole that we can all find ourselves in when we start lying and end up not being able to stop. It's about solitude and pushing all those we love away from us without even realising that it's happening. It describes a feeling that we've either all felt at some point in our lives, or been on the receiving end of." - Ryders Creed

LYRICS:
"Digging my own grave,
White knuckles on the hands of my enemies,
As they clasp at the weapon they'll choose to use on me.
The water's pouring in,
Drowning me in the eyes of my kin,
There's no way out, I can see,
So I keep digging down.

It's no surprise that I'm all alone here,
With all the lies that I'm breathing out, I'm breathing in.
Is there redemption for my lost soul?
Or am I destined to brave the cold, embrace the cold?

Building my own cage,
Fresh coat of paint to disguise all the stains,
I create with their love as my words cut deeper.
Patience wearing thin,
Stretching, tearing my soul from within,
There's no way out, I can see,
So I keep breaking down.
And I don't know, where I went wrong,
And I don't know if it's all my fault.
There's no way out, not for me,
So I keep breaking down.

It's no surprise that I'm all alone here,
With all the lies that I'm breathing out, I'm breathing in.
Is there redemption for my lost soul?
Or am I destined to brave the cold, embrace the cold?"
